Catherine is MC for the upcoming Career Ideas for Mums expo – an event focused on supporting women in career change around a growing family.
Catherine’s Company, ALUXE, has consulted for several private labels and owns several additional brands including Pure Spa and LUXE. Her products have been put into the hands of many high profile parents including Richard Branson, Princess Mary, Jamie Oliver, golfers Tiger Woods, Stuart Appleby, Bec Hewitt, models Kate Moss, Megan Gale, Kelly Preston and John Travolta to name a few with Brand Ambassadors including Hollywood base Stephanie McIntosh (former Neighbours actress) and Silvana Lovin (wife of former tennis champ Mark Philippoussos) as well as new mother, well-known sports journalist Tiffany Cherry. Catherine was one of a select few small business owners invited to the official opening of the new Royal Children’s Hospital by HRH Queen Elizabeth, in 2013, based on her community involvement with the facility.
Catherine’s products have won awards in both USA & Uk, have been included in the British Journal of Midwifery and were finalists in the Mother & Baby Awards 2013, with herself nominated for numerous awards over the past decade including National Finalist Ausmumpreneur 2011, Telstra Businesswomen’s Awards and NBAA for business excellence in 2009. Aromababy was also a finalist in the National Women in Business category of the 2013 My Business Awards. She was a nominee for the Telstra Business Awards and Telstra Businesswomen’s Awards 2014. Various AROMABABY products placed Bronze and Silver in the 2014 My Child Excellence Awards.
Catherine holds a Diploma in Aromatherapy, is a trained Infant Massage Instructor and has been involved in the formulation and development of natural & organic skincare products for more than twenty years.
Aromababy is exported around the world and is available across a diverse range of markets from retail stores (Myer and Thomas Dux) to midwifery hospitals and five star hotels.
